We see change as an opportunity to do things better - CIPs, a strategic instrument with vision

How do we live the CIP process at allsafe? - An insight

In a dynamic business world, the term "CIP" - continuous improvement process - is a widely used concept. But at allsafe, CIP is more than just a buzzword. It is the driving force behind our creative culture.
We see change as an opportunity to do things better - together.

More than process optimization: strategic foresight

A central component of our success is our culture of listening. At allsafe, every employee, regardless of their position, has the opportunity to contribute ideas and actively participate in or lead CIPs. Inspired by our current five-year strategy "Added value through service", we see CIP not just as a tool for process optimization, but as a strategic instrument. But how do we put this theory into practice? The answer: with a dedicated CIP team that takes a close look at existing processes and optimizes them in a targeted manner
One of our last CIP projects focused on the industrialization of the all:change repair process for bars and beams. The aim was to record returned products as a whole and increase production capacity while simultaneously reducing throughput times.

The findings from the ACTUAL analysis:

During the CIP meetings, the team came to a crucial realization: the real challenge was not, as initially assumed, in the internal process structure, but in the external logistics. The collection and return of the all:change boxes proved to be much more complex than expected, with seven different interfaces until they arrived at our premises - a clear case of inefficiency.

The turnaround: Digitization as the key:

Determined to tackle this problem, the CIP team ventured a new direction. Instead of focusing on internal dismantling, it concentrated on reducing the number of interfaces. The solution? Digitization. An IT colleague was quickly brought into the team, and together they developed a solution that revolutionized the entire process.

The digital solution: a QR code for efficiency:

The key to success was a simple but effective QR code. This code, which was applied before dispatch, eliminated all previous interfaces and enabled our all:change process to run smoothly.

Flexibility and success:

Six months after implementing this digital solution, we can proudly say that our customers are delighted with the simplicity and efficiency of the innovation. This success encourages us to now devote all our energy to the further development of our all:change dismantling process - always ready for change and further improvements. Final thought:

The world of CIP at allsafe shows that the path to efficiency can often take unexpected turns. With a dedicated team, flexibility and the use of digitalization, even seemingly small changes can have a big impact on a company's success. Our journey continues, and we look forward to taking you with us on the road to continuous improvement.
