Lashing and shoring within minutes.

The AJS system is based on steel lashing profiles with a keyhole pattern.
These profiles make it easy to place various types of KAT AJS shoring beams as well as straps.

This way cargo can be secured in each direction.		 AJS lashing profiles are available in three standard lenghts. Up to 5 m. lenght, tailor made is also possible.

AJS lashing profiles with shoring beams in between, can prevent cargo from pushing to the inner side of the doors.

With two rows of AJS lashing profiles, 17.000 kg can be secured complying with VDI 2700 ff.
With three rows, 27.000 kg can be secured complying with VDI 2700 ff.

In both cases, one row of lashing profiles should be equiped with fixation bolts.

AJS-bolt fixation
AJS-lashing profiles should always be equiped with fixation bolts.
These bolts are put into holes in the slat holders to achieve sufficient load transmission into the construction of the vehicle.
AJS beam
The blocking capacity of AJS-beams is BC 900 daN.
When two beams are placed directly against each other, BC = 1800 daN.
slat holder
Slat holders also fit into the key holes of the AJS-lashing profile.
This way it is possible to create segments with e.g. wooden slats to close in cargo.		 KAT AJS 2000 blocking beams are used for heavy duty purposes. Shoring capacity is BC 2000 daN.

The shoring capacity of AJS-beams is BC 900 daN.
When two beams are placed directly against each other, BC = 1800 daN.


Requirements for cargo securing in a 13.6 m trailer, complying with VDI 2700 ff.:

  • cross straps within max. 0.5 m distance from pillars
  • curtain strenght 850 g/m2 , strap tension horizontal 1.300 daN/vertical 2.300 daN
  • pallet stop on top of the rave
  • reinforced roof
